About:China Work Visa

Applying for a Z-visa within China, or outside?

Hello, I'm currently in China as an intern English teacher and student on a cultural program, but the school I am interning at have offered me a contract to be a proper teacher, so I need to apply for a Z. I meet all the requirements above (being over 24, being a native speaker and having a degree in English), but I don't have the 2 years' work experience mentioned.

Is it likely that my application would still be accepted? And if so, would I be able to apply for the Z within China or would I need to go to Britain or a third country?

Thank you,
Bob

Hi, as I know, the officers of the Labor Bureau might ask for the working experience reference only if they doubt the application. So, you can have a try to apply for a work permit with help by your school. For work Z application itself, you are advised to go back to UK. Although some agencies may claim that they can handle it within China, it costs a lot.
