About:Chengdu Weather

Hi could I see any panda in the panda breeding and research centre in Chengdu during 12january week?

When is the best time of the year and the best time of the day to see the panda
Hi Lilian ,
Thanks very much for your time answering my question that of course i can see panda in the panda breeding and research centre in Winter. In hindsight i think i should ask whether i can see as many panda in winter compare to warmer climate like in summer?

I heard from one version is that most of the panda will be resting in their 'caves" during winter and only a few will come out. On the other hand i heard another version the panda natural environment is cold weather. Which version is true?

Second question:-When is the best time of the day to see the panda.

I am sorry if i take up your time but it is important information for me as this is my main purpose of coming to chengdu in winter is to see the panda

Please do not worry.
You can still see as many pandas as that in the summer time.
It is suggested to pick up a sunny day to go there and 9 to 10 o'clock may be the best time in a day to see panda. During that time, they are active. If you go in the afternoon, you may just see the sleeping pandas on the grass. :)
