About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flights do not qualify for visa??

I have a flight from stockholm to melbourne with a stop in shanghai and a month later from Melbourne to Stockholm with a stop in Beijing. I just talked to a lady from air china and she told me that those flight do not qualify for the 72 hrs permit. Can someone explain why? (She couldn't)

Then it will be fine. Because for a stopover less than 24 hours, you can easily get a stay permit after arrival at the airport. That is to say, it is not necessary to apply for this 72 hour free transit permit.
