About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

How do I obtain a Canadian police record check approved by the Chinese Embassy in Canada?

I am applying for a long-term residence permit in China, and one of the documents required is a certificate attesting that I have not committed crimes in Canada. This certificate needs to be issued/approved by the Chinese Embassy in Canada.

When I came to China 9 years ago, I obtained such a certificate from my local police service before I left How do I do this now that I'm living in China? And how do I have it approved by the Chinese Embassy in Canada?

Thanks,

Hi, you need to get the Certified Criminal Record Check from the RCMP, and it should be authenticated by the authentication office of the Canadian Foreign Affairs Department or the relevant province (territory) before submitting to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General.
