I am a female, June 19, 1991.I was wondering what will my career be like for next year?

Should I keep on studying in the same field even though not really LOVE it? I know sheeps like to sit around and not really strive for a goal in terms of financial front, and I am like that but I really hate the image of me in my 30s like that. Can they change and really be independent financially in a permanent way?
