You need to exit mainland, for example, leave for HK and return back to activate next 30 days.

Leaving to HongKong is not a choice right now. I´ll try to extend it here in Chengdu. Do you know if this may cause me trouble next time I ask for it? I have Italian passport.

Regards!

But as I know, it is too late to apply for extension because the application should be submitted to local PSB 7 days before it expires. And you may lose the other entry if you extend it without leaving. To visit Hong Kong or Macao is a good choice for you.

Thank you very much Tyler.
They told me it was ok to give me a 30 days extension, losing the 2nd entry, but I only need 5 days, so I decided not to extend and come back in some months with the 2nd entry.

Thank you very very much!
