S2 visa be extended or not?

Hello,
My daughter is here on S2 now and it is going to be expire on Dec 28-2013. I want to know can we extend S2 for next 3 months as my daughter passport is going to be expire on March-2014?

S2 can be extended, but as I know, passport should be valid for 6 months or more. You are advised to visit local PSB asap or she still have time to renew her passort if necessary.
