About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 transit visa ok with SEOUL/BEIJING/SHANGHAI/NEW YORK?

Is 72-hour transit permit sufficient if you fly from Seoul to Beijing, spend one day there, then fly to Shanghai and fly back to New York from there? Or must you apply for another one in China for this passage? thank you.

I'm afraid not because this applies to a transit in one city only. You should apply for transt G in advance if the stopover in total in China exceeds 24 hours.
