I'm confused which way to go in the terms of Love....

I have a guy I like alot, but he is a Dog.. and it was great at first but it seems he really doesn't care as much, as he told me he's focusing on himself. Though at the same time, I wonder why he just can't make just a little time for me.. He makes enough time for his other friends.
