How can I apply for a visa to Hong Kong for a stay of 40 days?

hi, I want to go to Hong Kong on my South African passport and i will be staying for about 40 days. I understand that I will need one. What do I need? Should I just fill in the application form or are there any other documents I need to attach?
thanks :)

You need to provide round-trip ticket and hotel bookings for application from Chinese embassy or consulate. Besides, document showing your stay for 40 days is necessary if any, such as invitation letter from a HK resident or travel agency.
