About:Changbai Mountain

When will be the best time to visit Changbaishan?

Will it be difficult to travel around without going on group tour?
If travel alone how should one start and get around?

The best time to travel there is July to Sep.

Generally, it is suggested to travel there with a guide. If you wanna travel alone, it is acceptable, as the signs are marked both in English (some in Pinyin) and Chinese. Tourists usually start their trip from the North Slope.

I am coming from Beijing and plan to go to CBS on the Saturday and Changchun on the Sunday. Would you recommend November/December a good time to visit?
I am hoping for half snow half green??
