how do i go to the bird's nest stadium from wangfujing area in Beijing?

is it possible to go there taking Line 1?
how many stations must i interchange?

From Wangfujing area, you can take the subway line 1 first to reach Jianguomen Station and then change to line 2 to reach Gulou Dajie Station. Then you can change to line 8 to reach Olympic Sports Center Station.
Get out of the station, you can walk to the Bird Nest.
