About:China Visa

I have a F visa: 1 entry, 30 days but I want to stay for 6 months. Can I extend it while in china?

I'm going next week, I will be doing some kind of intership in Shanghai. I know I can stay 1 month but can I extend it to a period of 6 months? I'm Spanish, thank you.

Hi, to extend the F is possible, but it is impossible to extend it for 5 months more because an extension will be issued with duration of stay no more than the original one. If necessary, you may need to apply for a new F in HK.
