About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai visit before Yangon, Mayanmar

Hello, I currently live in Okinawa, Japan on SOFA status and am heading to Yangon, Mayanmar. I would love to see Shanghai. I can book a flight from Kayak with a 19 hour layover. If I wanted longer time and booked a flight to Shanghai for a Tuesday and booked another flight for Shanghai to Mayanmar to leave on Thursday, would I be able to stay without a visa?

Yes, if you are from the listed 45 countries. So, just prepare a ticket for leaving within 72 hours from Shanghai to Mayanmar for this free transit.
