my indian passport is valid till 7/04/14, will it be a problem entering/exiting china?

please note i will be flying to hongkong and then either by road or by flight going to PRC please adivce will they allow me to enter /exit considering my passport is valid less than 6 months.i have managed to get chinese type from dubai since im a reident here. i will be travelling tentatively on 25th november from india. please advice.my route will be from india to GUangzhou via hongkong .
