About:Shanghai Taxi

taxi fare from shanghai Longyang Road Station to People's Square

I was asked to pay 250 CNY (up front) for a taxi trip from Longyang Road Station to People's Square. It was on a wednesday, at 1 pm or so. I assume I have been ripped off ?

Oh, you did be ripped off. It is only around 12km between the two places and the taxi fare is CNY30-40. Sorry for that!
