About:China Train

Space for Luggage on High Speed Trains

I am thinking of travelling on a High Speed Train from Shanghai to Hangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing. Wonder whether there is any space on the High Speed Train for big luggage.

Yes, in the second class cars they had an area to place large bags i used to put my roller duffel bag there

Thanks Iphone User for your reply. As I will be travelling in the First Class seat, I presume there will be a space for me to keep big luggage. Wonder whether the train ticketing booth will agree to my request if I spcify that I specifically wanted seats near an area where I can keep my big luggage as my family will be travelling with me

Take it easy Andrew.
the first class carriage also has place for large luggage, which is at the connection area between two carriages. i placed my large suitcase at the closet there.
plus, there are room for luggage at the back of the last row of seats.
the seats at both ends of the carriage are close to the area for luggage.
