Can I use HK ID CARD for entry into China?

Hello,

I am Chinese Canadian, born in HK with a Japan Permanent Resident Status living in Japan. I have an old HK ID Card. Can I use this to go to China from Tokyo?

No, you should apply for a Chinese visa in advance for a visit to mainland PRC.
