About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Does this qualify for the 72 hour transit visa?

I am flying in from Signapore to Shanghai and plan to stay for three days. My departure from Shanghai is just under 72 hours is same day from Shanghai to Beijing (after a 4 hour layover at the airport) then on to Vancouver.

Sorry, you can't enjoy 72 hours free transit since you stay in two Chinese cities. You are suggested to apply one in advance.
