About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

We are visiting China in April 2014. Can we see and hold pandas?

We have been planning a tour of China and seeing the Pandas is number one on our list of things to do. Are we able to hold and have photos taken with them in April. what is the cost so I can plan. We have two pandas from Chengdu in the Adelaide zoo in Australia, but we are not allowed to be close to them. We are very impressed with the Chinese attitude towards their national treasure been the Pandas. I am not sure of the weather conditions in Chengdu in April but we hope we are able to get close to them.

Yes, you can go there to have pictures and hold pandas in April.

It costs CNY1,500-2,000 (donation fee) to stay with them or hold them for several minutes and take some pictures.
