About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Business trip to Shanghai, under 72 hours - arrive from US, depart to SG.

Work and expeditors are saying I need a visa.
This site appears to say otherwise.

Do i need one or not?

You can make Shanghai as a transit city from US to SG, visa is not required if you can show a ticket leaving from Shanghai to SG within 72 hours. Also, you can confirm this with your airline if necessary.
