About:Hong Kong Travel

We are flying Brisbane to Shanghai with a 2 hour stopover in Hong Kong and not leaving terminal,is any visas etc needed for this stop over

No, visa is not required for a stopover in HK. Actually, you are exempted from visa to HK for a stay not more than 90 days with Australian passport.
