About:China Transit Visa

I would like to make sure whether I can get transit visa to go through any China airport such as Shanghai?.

I am Matha from USA and I am holding a travel document. I intend to travel to Thailand in December. I would like to book a china airline ticket. Thanks

If you fly from USA to Thailand via Shanghai, you are allowed free transit for a stay of 72 hours, as well as Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu. But if you have a transit G obtained in advance, you can transit through any city without problem.
