About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hotel options at Shanghai Pudong airport

What options do I have of staying in airport if I don't have a transit visa (cannot go out of airport) and have a more than 12 hour stay at airport between the connecting flights? Is there a hotel which I can book in advance? What are the rates?

If you have a USA passport and making an international transfer, I do not think the visa is needed for getting out of the airport. If so, you can enjoy the 72-hour visa free policy in SH.
If you are not, you may need to stay in the hourly lounges in the airport, because there is no airport inside the terminal. And for the lounges, it is suggested to contact the lounges directly and their phone number is 021-68346490.

I hold Indian passport and I am not from one of the countries for which has 72 hour transit visa policy.

Google maps show Dazhong Express Airport Hotel is a hotel inside airport terminal (so does the hotel description on website says). Is this hotel accessible without any transit visa? Are there any hotels on daily basis? Is there a way to find out the hotel rates or does someone know the rates?
