About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 Round Trip Tickets booked but only staying in Shanghai 72 hours.

I have booked a round trip ticket from Vancouver Canada to Shanghai china (7days). Then I booked 4 days round trip from Shanghai to Bangkok. Does this qualify under the 72 hour?

Yes, it is ok. You can also confirm this with Shanghai airport directly at 0086-21-51105100.
