About:China City Guide

We are flying to Hong Kong for a week and intend to visit Guangzhou for 48 hours. Do we qualify for the 72 hours visa exemption. UK citizen

Unless you fly from HongKong back to UK via Guangzhou so that you are allowed free stay for 72 hours without visa. But if you visit from HK to Guangzhou then back to HK, you should apply for a Chinese visa in advance.
