The lunar New Year of 2014 will fall during Jan. 30, 2014 to Feb. 6, 2014. Comparatively, it is suggested to experience the Spring Festival in Sanya. At the attractions of Tianya Haijiao and Nanshan Temple, many celebration activities will be held and many visitors will go there. However, on Dec. 31, 2013, I'm afraid there will not be special activities.
