About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Apply for 72hrs transit visa or stay permit for 16hr stopover?

Hi, we have a 16hr stopover in Guangzhou in transit back to Perth (Australia). Do we apply for a 72hr transit permit through the airline or apply for a stay permit at the airport when we arrive? Thanks!

Hi, for a stopover lass than 24 hours, you can easily get a stay permit after arrival at the airport if you plan to go out of the airport.
