Enough time to make connection at Beijing Capital airport

Hello,

I just called the airline and received two different answers to my questions. I hold US citizenship and will be flying from the United States into BJ and then will be connecting to a flight to Ho Chin Min city. This will all be with the same airline, Air China. The time between flights is one hour and ten minutes. Is 70 minutes enough time for this connection? Also this will be my first time at BJ airport and I will be alone so do know if I will find the airport somewhat confusing as well...which will only shorten my time to connect! If there is enough time and the airport is simple to understand and everything is near each other, then hopefully if you agree, I can make it easily.

I read some of the directions here on how to connect but reading and doing can be totally two different things and again, I have never been there so don't know the crowds or what to expect
