About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

If I am a United States citizen, traveling to China for 9 days in October, do I need a visa?

United Airlines is telling me I DO NOT need one.

Some citizens who have traveled to China recently say I DO need one.

Please advise. Thanks very much.

You can go to Hong Kong or Macau without a visa. For mainland China you will need one.
