It was origially made to transport or export the silk or China. By now, it has been an important route to exchange/communicate economy, politics and culture between oriental areas and western countries.15

Actually, it was made because of the ancient China wanted to fight with the Huns and they needed a road to connected with the tribes around Huns to unified and fight against the Huns.4
