Driving licence - rent a car

Hello, we would like to rent a car in Shenzhen for 6 days. Do we need a special driving licence?

If you want to drive a car in China, you must have a Chinese driving licence.
If you want to get Chinese driving licence, it is suggested to go to the local police office to consult more detail information.
