sale of public transportation card

I am arriving hongqiao airport at 1825 on Thursday. Could I can a public transportation card from the airport? where? office hours?

Yes, you can get the card at the airport, at the counter near entrance/exit to the subway station. No worry. The counter will not be closed until the last train leaves at late night.
