High speed train to Guangzhou

I intend to travel from Nanjing to Guangzhou by high speed rail in late Nov this year. How do I go about taking it to reach Guangzhou within the same day.

there is no direct high-speed type running between the two cities.
you can take it in this way:
G579 from NJ South at 07:42 and arrives in Wuhan at 11:23.
upon arrival, you have to leave the station and get into it again, then take
G1129 from Wuhan at 12:30 and arrives in Guangzhou at 16:47.
