About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I fly from Taipei to NY connecting at Shanghai SHA but I leave out of Shanghai PVG what do I do?

Will I have to get a 72 hour visa for this flight since it appears I need to make arrangements to get to another airport. Is it difficult making this connection?

Visa is not required if your stopover in Shanghai is less than 72 hours, you need to apply for a transit permit after arrival at SHA in order to go to PVG. It is easy and free of charge.
