Tourist Visa to china for Filipino working in thailand

hi i am a filipino here in thailand... i want to go to PRC to visit a friend whom i met here ... am planning to stay there for about 5 days... what shall i do ? can i apply for visa here in bangkok? thanks

You can apply in Bangkok with legal work permit there. Invitation letter from your friend is required, as well as a copy of his Chinese ID.
