About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

X to a Z visa

Hi, I am currently studying at a university and have my X but I have not as yet gone to the police station to request my residence permit. I have completed all necessary physical examinations and have been certified by the university. However after the semester I would like to be able to continue to work in China. I have my own registered company in my home country, what would be the correct procedure in order for me to apply for a Z to continue to do so? Thank you for your help it will be truly appreciated.

If you get an offer, the company should apply for the work permit/employment certificate and an official invitation letter from relevant departments. With these two documents, you should apply for work Z outside of mainland PRC, in HK if possible.

I am the CEO of the company, so would I be able to draft a letter stating my purpose and sphere of business here? And who would be the relevant departments to receive an invitation letter from? Thank you again.

I mean an offer from company in China you are going to work for, otherwise, you can apply for M type instead if you just doing business with any company there. Then the inviting company should issue an invitation letter for your application.
