shekou port distance from shenzhen subway?

HI, I need t catch Thai Air flight from HKIA on 28 Sept (Saturday). Please advise:1. While staying in SZ, can I take the subway to reach Shekou fery terminal? Is  the Shekou subway station on Line 2 near the ferry terminal?2. Any website from where I can book the ferry tickets in advance. 3. I travel on Australian passport, will I have to go through immigration at ferry terminal? I have a confirmed Thai Air ticket and I work in China.Thanks for your help.

In SZ, u can easily take the subway to reach Shekou Terminal. For the subway line 2, I think you may mean the Shekou Line, right? If so, the shekou ferry terminal is within the walking distance from shekou subway station. For booking the ticket, I think you can try to find on the official website of shekou port. If you cannot open their official website, you may need to buy the ticket when you reach the port. You need to go through immigration at ferry terminal.

Thanks for the prompt reply. On another note, Do you recommend usng the subway line from SZ to cross into HK at Futian check point and get on the MTR　to travel to HK international airport? Please adivse which way is the quickest to reach HK International airport from area around Hongahan subway station in SZ?Thanks for your advice/comments.

You must refer to Hongshan MTR Station along Longhua line. You can surely take subway to Louhu to cross the border to HK, and then transfer to HKIA. This should be a convenient way.
