About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Just married in China , I need temporary resident permit

Hi, I am frum UK and just recently got married in China and currently in the middle of my L type (dual entry 60 day). What is the best way to obtain a temporary resident permit for me as my now wife is a Chinese national living here and I want to stay here and renew it every 12 months minimum (if not longer) and have no restriction on number of entries.

Hi, you can apply for the Q1 type one which enables to acquire more than 180 days stay in PRC. It's similar to the family visit L type introduced here. When you acquire it, you need to apply for the temporary resident permit with 30 days after your arrival.
