About:Macau Travel

I am a foreigner, but hold a Hong Kong resident identity card. Can I enter Macau with it alone?

I have to surrender my passport to the China Travel Services in Hong Kong for a China visa. Meanwhile I'd like to visit M, instead of waiting in Hong Kong for the return of my passport. Can I enter Macau without my passport and with my Hong Kong identity card only?

Hi, holders of a HK Identity Card can travel to HK without visa. But you should take your passport. However, HK Permanent Residents do not need to show passports to get into Macau.
