Nanjing to Shanghai, train?
Which station in SH is nearer to the city centre. And I'm travelling from Nanjing South. Thanks

SH Railway Station is much closer to the city center than the Hongqiao Railway Station.1

SH city is closer, but Hongqiao is easier as Line 2 is adjacent to the main railway. I depends on exactly where you want to go.
I would go Hongqiao and buy a metro card, and get a good map. The transfer to the metro is easy, and it is then a matter of what line you transfer to,
If you speak Mandarin, SH rail and taxi is good also.0
