About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I visit hongkong if I have a single entry visa into mainland china

I hold a ZIM passport and currently in Guangzhou for business and I'm wishing to travel to hongkong for a night or 2 but mine into china is single entry.can I get advise on my options

You have no problem if you go to HK for one or two days. But you will have to apply for another one if you want to enter mainland China again.
