s1 visa

Hi, I'm a British Citizen on a L type at the moment, my husband is on a X type. My current L expires in November, I would like to know that is it possible for me to apply for S1 type from Hong Kong, Thailand or Malaysia.

HK is impossible now, I think. According to the latest regulation, the applicants without resident status in HK can not apply there. If you want to apply in Thailand or Malaysia, you have to provide valid visa (both original and copy).
