It will be open in January for the Wolong? Can we see the pandas in winter?

I am thinking to travel on January, I would like to know if I could see the pandas at Wolong National Nature Reserve and if it is easy to arrive from Chengdu, I am asking about the roads and weathers conditions at that time of the year (winter).
