About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do i qualify for the 72 hour free visa?

South African residence (20 September arriving Beijing 21st at night) to Hong Kong but connect flight to Hong kong in Beijing on the 22nd September 2013 afternoon.

No, it is for passport holders from those listed 45 countries. But if your stopover is less than 24 hours, visa is not required as well.
