About:Embassy & Consulates of Nepal in China

Overland travel Kathmandu to Beijing in April 2014.

Dear Sir or Madame

I am a UK citizen of 22 years old looking to travel overland from Kathmandu to Beijing by bus and train, would you please advise if this is possible? I would like to do it in under 2 weeks.

Hi, it is possible, make sure apply for a tourist L in advance. Also if you travel through Tibet, you need to get a Tibet Travel Permit through a travel agency.
