urgent need of chinese visa for shanghai , looking to obtain same in sydney australia

Question

Am arriving in Sydney Australia from US on Thursday and have business meetings on Monday and tuesday of next week 16/17th will it be possible to go to the chinese embassy in Sydney to get a one day visit visa for Shanghai for  meetings with Chinese companies previously scheduled by the US Commercial service on the 13th on the return trip 19th 20th.

Hi, you need to apply through CVASC in Sydney not the consulate. Better contact the center directly for details. I am not sure if it is ok for application as you are a tourist there only.
