Booking a cruise - visa expired

Hi, I am a Chinese intern working in North Florida as part of the Ohio State University International Agricultural and Horticultural Exchange Program. My tenure is now coming to an end and I am interested in booking a cruise from Miami before I return home. My working type one has expired since 12th of August but the OSU has extended my DS-2019 until October 11th. I would like to know is it still possible for me to book such a cruise, and what kind of cruise I can book? Thank you in advance
