About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

@Transit visa for Shanghai

I am a Canadian citizen living in Toronto and want to take the cruise from Shanghai to Hong Kong in October. I want to go to Shanghai 2-3 days before boarding the cruise for Hong Kong. Do I need an entry? Kindly advise.

Yes, you should apply for a tourist L with flight ticket, cruise ticket and hotel reservation record for your stay in Shanghai.
