About:China Visa on Arrival

Can an Australian national and a Korean national obtain visas on arrival at Dalian ferry port?

I've heard that South Koreans are able to obtain it on entry, but Australians can not. Could you please verify this. Thank you.

Sorry, Australians are required to apply in advance before they go to PRC.
